Nepal for families does not have to mean long hikes. This eight-day itinerary pairs short, hands-on activities — cooking, canoeing, elephant-bathing alternatives and a mountain flight — with comfortable hotels and a guide who speaks both child and adult.
Days are short, there is a pool at every stay, and the family room is booked for you. Kids under 12 receive a reduced fare and a junior explorer booklet with activities.
